The energy and expertise surrounding this year’s leadership will help make this a great growth year for the club.

One of the things that I would like to see is some creativity in thinking of ways to involve more businesses in the club that are not from our social media “space”. Sometimes it has felt to me like we haven’t done a very good job of helping local business people see the value in associating with and learning from the club’s members. These business people are really the ones that can gain the most from coming to meetings, learning and participating. People like Danielle Mahoney, for example, from Dream Dinners and Adam Weight from Western Community Bank see the value... But there are hundreds of others in the valley that could benefit.

I recognize that my perspective is from a social media “marketing” perspective, and probably doesn’t represent all the interests in our club. So, I am also anxious to hear what kinds of things other members would like to see us do this year.

Thanks to this year’s new leadership for taking on this responsibility. You rock, guys.
